PRESS RELEASE

FOUR ON A TRANSOM IS AN EYEFUL
May 2003

Because of the abundance of boat brands and models in the marine industry today, it is often difficult to differentiate between them.  But when one sees a 39' sportboat slicing more than one wave at a time, and being pushed at a high rate by four Honda V-6 225 hp outboards, he has to stop and stare.

Even with the 39' Midnight Express weighing in at 12,400 pounds with 325 gallons of fuel, Honda's quad BF225s pushed the craft to an impressive 67.8 mph.  This powerful performance was achieved through Honda's proprietary Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control (VTEC) and Multi-port Programmed Fuel Injection systems.

The current 39' Midnight Express is derived from an older 37' model, originally conceived from a stretched Cigarette boat.  The experts at Midnight Express then refined the craft by straightening the hull, raising the sides 5" and the deck 2", shaving 2? off the V and turning the cockpit into an efficient, self-bailing platform.

Honda has produced 4-stroke outboards for nearly 40 years, with its current line including models from 2 to 225 hp.  The company also offers the most comprehensive, non-declining 3-year warranty in the industry.
