NEW GEARCASE ENHANCES OUTBOARD PERFORMANCE
April 2003

For an outboard engine powering a boat at high speeds, a sleek, hydro-dynamically designed lower end is essential. Honda Marine is proud to announce the introduction of its new Sabre™ gearcase, which optimizes the performance of its BF200/225 4-stroke engines.

Available for models with 20" shaft lengths, the Sabre has been enhanced to allow for higher engine mounting heights, resulting in improved overall performance. It features the new integrated nose cone that enhances handling at speeds above 70 mph, improves acceleration and maximizes top speed.
To ensure proper cooling of the powerhead, new lower water inlets are incorporated in the design. The Sabre also features a longer, narrower skeg to improve both speed and handling.

The Sabre is available through an exchange program. For ordering information, contact the Sabre gearcase administrator at T-H Marine at 256-772-0164, or visit the website at www.THMARINE.com.

Honda outboards have a proven history of reliability and are backed by the most complete warranty of any outboard manufacturer. All of its models already meet EPA emissions regulations for 2006, and many also meet the California Air Resources Board (CARB) standards for 2008.
