our part but is grounded in facts about both the length of our warranty and how it is backed. Read below to get the real
facts about our warranty and how it stacks up against all others. We value the faith you put in our products and want

Factory Direct – The True 5 warranty is offered and fully backed by Honda Marine for the life of the warranty, even
if it is transferred during the warranty term. This is unlike many other outboard warranties, which are carried by a third party insurance
company as an extended service contract. As a result, the third party warranty companies often are more concerned with limiting claim payouts
than with satisfying your service needs.
Non-Declining – True 5 coverage is the same on the last day of coverage as it is on the first. This is not like "pro-rated"
warranties that offer ever-decreasing coverage as the warranty approaches its full term or end date. Why is this important? Unless you have a
problem on "day one," chances are that any problems you might incur will happen much later in the life of the warranty. If warranty coverage
is "pro-rated" (declines with age), you may be faced with expensive repair bills that make what once looked like a great deal, a whole lot
less attractive!
